Vanessa Spiva

Vanessa Spiva is a public policy strategist, systems architect, and organizational leader whose career spans government, law, education, and technology. With deep roots in civic service and a forward-facing command of AI integration and revenue operations, she brings an uncommon breadth of experience to her role as Executive Director of CreateTech International.

Vanessa's path to educational leadership began in the halls of government. She served as an assistant to Karen Bass during her tenure as a U.S. Representative in Congress, where Bass represented California's 37th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2022 — before going on to become the Mayor of Los Angeles. Working alongside one of California's most consequential elected officials gave Vanessa firsthand exposure to the intersection of federal policy, community advocacy, and institutional leadership at the highest levels of government, shaping her ability to navigate complex systems and lead with both strategy and purpose.

Her legal acumen was further developed through her work with the American Arbitration Association (AAA), one of the nation's foremost alternative dispute resolution organizations, as well as through internships with three prominent attorneys. These experiences forged the analytical discipline, procedural rigor, and commitment to principled governance that continue to define her leadership style. As a young adult, she also worked within charter schools, building an early and authentic understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing innovative education models — a foundation that now drives her work at CreateTech.

As Executive Director, Vanessa oversees revenue operations, sales systems, enrollment infrastructure, and internal workflow optimization for CreateTech International. She leads the organization's AI integration strategy — deploying platforms including GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Zapier, and Claude — to align marketing, sales, and program delivery into one seamless, high-performing system. Her prior work as Sales Director at Re-Accelerate produced a 50% increase in booked consultations within 60 days, and her independent consulting practice built scalable acquisition systems for service-based and B2B organizations nationwide.

Vanessa holds a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University. Her integrated background in public policy, law, dispute resolution, marketing, AI, and charter school operations makes her a defining force in CreateTech's mission to expand access to innovative, technology-driven education.
